Here is his HostMonster shared hosting review:
The price was somewhat expensive for me for HostMonster. Having seen other hosts offer $1.99/mo hosting, I went ahead and bought into HostMonster for $6.95 (I should have searched for HostMonster discounts first), under the thought that "you get get what you pay for."
Overall, HostMonster's service has been fairly good. I've noticed my site does load a little slower than other sites like it. I have a feeling my server might be overloaded with too many customers. Allowing unlimited domains along with unlimited space can be a hardship for any company.
I've had to ask for my account to be moved off two servers so far. Usually, after the move I notice my sites are faster, but after a few months, the slowdown happens again. Frustrating.
My recommendation is this: If you are just starting out and need your first host, HostMonster fits the bill perfectly. However, if you have established sites with a lot of traffic, I'd highly recommend going with a host that has a VPS account or Dedicated Servers available.
